(Question):

例如:把 out 打成 otu,或把 can 打成 acn。

In MS Excel, in some cases you want to type in a random abbreviation on purpose, such as "otu", or "acn", but the auto-correct feature of excel will change them to "out" or "can".

You may simply "undo" to change the word back to what you want in MS Word, but not in MS Excel.

(Solution):

One way to solve it is to disable the auto-correct feature. But, I don't think many people would like to do so just for some special words.

The following is an alternative solution:

1. Type the word, such as acn or otu in a text editor like Notepad.

2. Copy the word and then paste on the cell at MS Excel. This bypasses the auto-correct feature. But, when you use your mouse to select a cell to paste it, please click only once on that cell. Otherwise, the auto-correct feature will still change it.
